Hogwarts Legacy features numerous secret quests and hidden mysteries scattered across its expansive open world. Among the most rewarding side activities is the Cursed Tomb Treasure quest, which tests players' puzzle-solving abilities and spellcasting mastery. Completing this objective grants exclusive cosmetic gear that allows players to fully embrace their inner magical treasure hunter.

Finding the Mysterious Map Fragment in Manor Cape

To begin this questline, players must travel to the far southern region of the world map near Manor Cape. Head to the ruined manor house located northeast of the West Manor Cape Floo Flame waypoint. You can enter the basement by unlocking the iron door with Alohomora level three or by lighting a brazier at a nearby mausoleum statue using Incendio or Confringo.

Once inside the underground area, defeat the surrounding Inferi and overcome the two Infamous Foes, Lord of the Manor and Ailsa Travers. After clear-cutting the threat, search the room for a chest containing the Mysterious Map Fragment. Reading this treasure map reveals the exact location of the target dungeon and a cryptic geometric puzzle required to open the main chest.

Navigating the Tomb of Treachery

The map directs players toward the Tomb of Treachery, located in the northern Poidsear Coast region. The entrance to this hidden cavern is concealed directly behind a rushing waterfall. Fast-traveling to the nearby Floo Flame makes reaching the entrance quick and straightforward for prepared adventurers.

Proceed through the shadowy corridors while using fire spells like Incendio or Confringo to clear away thick spiderwebs blocking your path. As you venture deeper, you will enter a central chamber containing a locked door marked with three empty moth slots. You must locate the scattered moths in surrounding side rooms and guide them to the door using the Lumos spell.

Solving the Floor Puzzle in the Final Chamber

Passing through the moth door leads directly into the final chamber, where another wave of undead enemies will spawn. Eliminate these foes using explosive barrels and fire-based magic to clear the room for puzzle solving. Once the arena is clear, inspect the grid of nine stone tiles embedded in the floor.

To solve the floor puzzle, stand facing the grid with the entrance brazier to your right. Cast the Flipendo spell on the top-middle tile, as well as the bottom-left and bottom-right corner tiles. Flipping these three specific tiles forces the central structure to rise from the floor, rewarding you with the Treasure-seeker's Attire.
